MOTORIZED VOLUME CONTROL DAMPER
AEROVAC –MVCD – AV – 11– G –GD–F High Performance Control Dampers combine the performance of an Galvanized steel airfoil blade with the rugged durability of a steel frame. They offer unsurpassed Class 1 leakage and pressure drop characteristics for superior performance that meets the International Energy Conservation Code maximum leakage criteria for building envelope dampers. Leakage rating is maintained with airflow in either direction, permitting right or left-hand drive installation. Suitable for use in high velocity, medium pressure commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
AEROVAC – AV-11-G-G-F / MVCD-G-G-F-200 low leakage Volume control dampers are most popular choice for use in low to medium velocity and pressure commercial HVAC systems. They are low cost, high quality dampers that meet the frequently specified leakage criteria of less than 8cfm per sq. ft. at 4″ w.g. (148 M3/hr/M2).
Design features include durable steel construction, a sturdy 20-16 ga. galvanized steel hat channel frame with die-formed corner gussets providing superior structural strength equivalent to 13 ga. (2.4 mm) channel type frames, an interlocking vee groove blade design that maximizes strength and optimizes airflow, double bolted / riveted no slip blade axle connections with Brass /Nylon bearings, Silicon extruded blade seals and a no-maintenance concealed linkage located within the side frame out of the air stream for reduced pressure drop, air turbulence and noise.
CURTAIN TYPE FIRE DAMPER
A device, installed in an air distribution system, is designed to close automatically upon detection of heat, to interrupt migratory airflow, and to restrict the passage of flame.
Features – U.L. rated 1 ½ hour fire damper, for use in a 2-hour fire partition.
Meets NFPA 90 A & UL 555
FRAME AND SLEEVE

BACKDRAFT DAMPER
Features: AV-NRD designed to prevent back draft when air moving devices are switched off.
Maximum Velocity: 3000 FPM
Maximum Differential Pressure: 1.0 kPa (4” WG)
Features: AV-PRD counterbalanced pressure relief dampers are used to maintain the design pressure in the duct by releasing the excess pressure by regulating the damper.
The dampers can be installed in rectangular or circular ducts vertically. Opening pressure can easily be set by adjusting weight of each damper/ installation. Weights are included in the delivery. Pressure relief dampers can be supplied with non-standard dimensions on request.
